The Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga is presenting an audio description service for the upcoming F1 Grand Prix season.
The service primarily is aimed to visually impaired enthusiasts of the motor sports.
To reach the service and have a quick access right at your mobile, we have developed a radio station listening application. It allows you quickly to start the service at race days and over the time, we hope to bring you even additional qualitative programs.
The application is designed with accessibility in mind and while aimed to visually impaired and blind users, anyone can enjoy the commentary of our reporters.

Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga tarjoaa kuvailutulkkauslähetyksiä kuluvan Formula 1 -kauden ajan. Palvelu on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti näkövammaisille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneita moottoriurheilusta.
Jotta palvelu olisi helposti saatavilla ja nopeasti käytettävissä mobiililaitteella, olemme kehittäneet radionkuuntelusovelluksen. Sen ansiosta on helppo nopeasti ottaa palvelu käyttöön F1-kisapäivinä. Tavoitteenamme on myös lisätä ohjelmistoon muita lähetyksiä.
Sovelluksen suunnittelun lähtökohtana on ollut saavutettavuus. Vaikka palvelu on ensisijaisesti tarkoitettu näkövammaisille, kuka tahansa on tervetullut nauttimaan lähetyksistä.

- We have added a few improvements on stability and general user experience.
Our focus, however, was on adding additional transmission languages.
As of now the F1 live transmission with audio description is available in Finnish language as well. The application now is translated in Finnish as well.
Upon the first launch you will be asked for your preferred transmission language. If you want to change your selection, you can do at any time from the newly added Program language selection. The application text translation is independant and still is decided by your iOS language selection.
Note: The Finnish broadcast currently includes only the live F1 race commentary. Other shows are currently in planning.
Olemme tehneet parannuksia liittyen sovelluksen toimivuuteen ja yleiseen käyttökokemukseen. Ensisijainen tavoitteemme oli lisätä sovellukseen uusia käyttökieliä.
Nyt F1-kilpailun kuvailutulkatut live-lähetykset on saatavilla myös suomenkielisinä. Sovellus on nyt siis käännetty myös suomeksi.
Kun lataat sovelluksen ensimmäistä kertaa, sinulta kysytään, minkä kielen haluat valita. Jos haluat vaihtaa kielivalintaasi, voit tehdä sen sovellukseen lisätyn kielivalikon kautta. Sovelluksen tekstikäännös on riippuvainen tekemästäsi iOS kielivalinnasta.
Huomaa, että suomenkielinen lähetys sisältää tällä hetkellä ainoastaan F1-kilpailun live-selostuksen. Muita lähetyksiä suunnitellaan.
