The app makes you able to enjoy the experience either from the comfort of your home, thanks to the manual mode, or on site using GPS and visual markers tracking, strictly necessary to align the point of view of the real world with the virtual one.
Walk in the past offers a real-time 3D reconstruction, which means that if you are visiting the sites in person, you can literally ‘walk in the past’, while walking in the real world. The virtual horizon constantly aligns with your point of view, offering a unique and breathtaking experience that superimposes on top of the real world.
You will also have audio guides, which will provide all the needed information to learn more about the history of these two wonderful places of the past. The languages supported by the audio guides are ENGLISH, ITALIAN and JAPANESE.
But don't worry, if you are not visiting Taormina, you''ll still be able to enjoy all the contents from the comfort of your home, piloting the virtual reconstruction with simple buttons as any first-person video game.
