Backwards Journal: The Reverse Day
This feature challenges you to detail your day by starting with the most recent event and progressively moving toward the morning.
On-Screen Guidance: The primary message on this screen encourages the practice: "Start making notes from the most recent event of the day and gradually move toward the beginning. This helps in practicing your memory and in keeping track of the event as clearly as possible."
Journaling Mechanic
Initial Entry: A single input line appears with the placeholder "last event of the day," where you record the final moment of your day.
Reverse Addition: Tapping the "add previous event" button adds a new line above the last entry, prompting you to recall the event that preceded it. This process repeats as many times as you wish.
Completion: A final button completes and saves the entry.
Home Screen Preview
The main screen displays a preview card for each completed journal entry, showing the date (automatically recorded on the day of entry) and the text of the very first event recorded (which is the actual last event of your day). You can tap the card to read the full journal or delete the entry.
Thought Loop: First & Last
This screen is dedicated to capturing the bookends of your mental day: your final thought before sleep and your first thought upon waking, followed by a mood assessment.
Home Screen Display
The completed Thought Loop card is displayed on the screen. The overall background color of the card is determined by the selected mood label (Green, Yellow, or Red). You can view and delete these entries.
Settings
You can support the development of Reverse Recovery: Memoization with an optional in-app purchase. This section includes a Restore button. Review your Privacy and Terms and manage your notification settings.
