This release is a collection of small but important bug fixes focused on stability.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the initial screen failed to appear on iPad after the first-install walkthrough on older iOS versions.
- Prevented playback from stopping in the background under specific edge conditions.
- Made EPUB downloads more reliable.
- Stabilized text editing so edits are not lost.
- Improved stability when very long reading lists are displayed.
- Fixed help videos that occasionally froze.
We first addressed the iPad flow that would stall on older iOS versions right after the first-install screen.
Next, we kept chipping away at the background playback bug so audio keeps going even under tricky conditions.
We also hunted down the unstable behaviors around reading lists, text editing, and help videos to keep everything smooth.
Overall this update is all about making the app steadier.
