描述
Public Warning Obat Tradisional (PW OT) merupakan aplikasi berbasis ponsel pintar (smartphone) yang dikembangkan oleh Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan Republik Indonesia (Badan POM RI). Aplikasi ini menampilkan data produk obat tradisional dan suplemen kesehatan yang telah ditarik dari peredaran karena mengandung bahan kimia obat.
Produk-produk yang tercantum dalam aplikasi Public Warning Obat Tradisional telah dipublikasikan kepada masyarakat melalui berbagai media, baik cetak maupun elektronik.
Dalam upaya untuk terus menerus meningkatkan perlindungan terhadap masyarakat, public warning yang telah diterbitkan selama ini dihimpun dalam satu aplikasi dengan harapan masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mengakses produk yang tidak layak dikonsumsi dan berpotensi merugikan kesehatan.
Data produk yang ditampilkan dalam aplikasi ini terdiri atas:
1. Nama produk
2. Nama produsen atau importir yang tercantum
3. Kandungan bahan kimia obat
4. Gambar (jika ada)
5. Nomor dan tanggal public warning
Untuk dapat mencari produk yang dimaksud, Anda bisa melihat daftar semua produk yang ditarik sesuai Nomor Public Warning tertentu atau Anda bisa memasukkan Kata Kunci Pencarian terkait produk tertentu, kemudian tekan tombol search.
