These devices are very useful in emergency situations where first aid is needed; especially when a user
is unresponsive or has lost conciousness. Using
the SmartICE application, the rescuer can read the personal data contained on the ICE band, ICE card, ICE key ring, or ICE patch.
The SmartICE application does not use the user's inter‐ net, which makes personal data completely safe. After closing the application, the user's personal data is per‐ manently removed from the user's device . To add on, the user can feel more comfortable and safe with the option to keep their data protected with a password.

Aplikacja SmartICE jest inteligentnym narzędziem do odczytu - za pomocą smartfona z systemem iOS wyposażonego w NFC - informacji o stanie zdrowia, przyjmowanych lekach, kontaktach do najbliższych i danych osobowych, zapisanych na nośnikach pamięci takich jak "opaska ICE, bransoletka życia, karta ICE, naklejka ICE,opaska medyczna, brelok ICE, naszywka ICE".

Za pomocą aplikacji w prosty sposób ratownik odczyta dane zawarte w Twojej opasce ICE , Karcie ICE ,breloku ICE lub naszywce ICE które zawsze możesz mieć przy sobie .
Aplikacja nie korzysta z internetu co sprawia że dane osobowe są w pełni bezpieczne , po zamknięciu aplikacji zostają trwale usunięte z telefonu użytkownika . A możliwość edycji jest zabezpieczona hasłem.
