Description
A polyphonic analogue-style engine with dual morphing oscillators, a resonant dual filter, two ADSR envelopes, and two LFOs. Exponential curves, filter saturation, oscillator drift, Shape morphing, and Contour give it warmth, motion, and character.
What makes SpiceCore different is its generative engine: a 16-step sequencer with Euclidean rhythms, Markov-based melodic evolution, and a bounded mutation engine. Four macros — Mutation, Density, Chaos, Memory — put the generative behaviour at your fingertips.
Cycles gives each step parameter its own loop length. Gate, Velocity, Probability, Ratchet, and Active can each repeat every 1–16 steps independently of the pattern length. Pitch stays on the full pattern, so melodic identity is preserved.
Play Notes lets you build a pattern by playing it. Long-press the Sequencer button, play notes or chords, and they land directly in the steps.
Motion Arp turns held chords into living musical motion — five traversal modes, two rhythm engines, eight motifs, and six action pads.
Timbre gives the macros a second role: oscillator colour. Shape and Contour move around the patch's home tone for evolving colour without losing the saved sound.
A per-destination modulation matrix routes any source to any knob, fader, Shape strip, or Contour control — long-press to assign LFOs, envelopes, velocity, mod wheel, aftertouch, randomness, ArpStep, or ArpVelocity.
Smooth preset switching keeps held notes sounding on the preset they were started under. Only new notes pick up the new sound.
Standalone with on-screen keyboard, or AUv3 instrument inside Logic Pro for iPad and other compatible hosts.

- SpiceCore 1.1.5 introduces Cycles: a new way to grow your sequence by giving each parameter its own loop length.
• Cycles: turn on the new Cycles toggle in the Rhythm group to give Gate, Velocity, Probability, Ratchet, and Active their own repeat length, independent of the pattern length. Long-press an edit-mode button (Gate, Vel, Prob, Rpt) to choose its cycle length (1–16); tap the centre of the Steps rocker stepper to set the Active cycle. Shorter cycles loop inside the bar and evolve naturally bar-to-bar through Memory, Markov, and Chaos.
• First-run Cycles onboarding panel explains the feature the first time you turn it on, then stays out of the way.
• New rocker steppers replace sliders across the Sequencer controls. Tap +/− for fine moves, or drag for continuous increment/decrement.
• Reliability improvements: real-time audio hardening across the modulation matrix, sequencer, motif engine, and MIDI output path.
