描述
SOLAS vessels should always use their Navtex receiver as the primary source of maritime safety information. However, gaps can occur – especially when entering a new area or when older messages drop out of the Navtex history. Many receivers only show a list of active warning numbers, not the full text of earlier warnings.
The Nautoshark Navarea Warnings App helps bridge that gap by letting you:
View the latest NAVAREA warnings on your phone or tablet
See the full text of active and recent warnings, not just their IDs
Quickly check information when your Navtex history is incomplete or you’ve just moved into a new area
For leisure craft that are too small to carry a Navtex receiver, it is still essential to check the latest NAVAREA warnings before and during a voyage. The Nautoshark Navarea Warnings App makes this possible by putting this information in your pocket.
Coverage includes worldwide NAVAREA warnings for all 21 NAVAREAs, plus coastal warnings where available.
