Terrain Scouting: GPS Maps
Terrain Scouting is a powerful, privacy-focused app built for hunters, hikers, fisherman, foragers, and gardeners. Drop pins, measure distances and acres, record hikes, and keep everything organized how you like. iCloud sync keeps your data with you across devices.

Basic Features
- Beautiful Design. Powerful scouting features right where you need them.
- Drawing Tools. Measure line distance or areas by acres by drawing on the map.
- Hike Tracking. Record distance and keep track of where you have scouted.
- Extensive range of pin colors and icons (including specific tree types (red oaks, white oaks, etc…)).
- Top 12 hunting icons are always displayed so no more fumbling to find the right icon while out in the brush.
- Configurable map overlays including satellite, topography, or hybrid (slide with two fingers to view 3D and really see the elevation).
- Customize elevation lines and map overlays, including trails, rivers, roads, and more.
- Public land overlay to easily find Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs).

Premium Features:
- ScoutLists. Like playlists for your scouting. Group and filter pins, hikes, & notes for better planning and cleaner maps. Create ScoutLists by location, year, or however you want to group your scouting.
- Field Notes. Location-specific notes that are tappable on screen for easy viewing. No more digging through pins to find notes.
- Sequence Pins. Plan your scout in location order & map the distance between each stop. Great for advanced digital planning before boots on the ground.
- Journal. Record your experiences. Field research, location conditions, details of a hunt, or mindful journaling, capture the moment and review later with journal filtering.
- “Explore Here” quick-pin-drop button with unique color and customization for those times you want to tag a place to explore.
- Heatmap Pins. Create a visual of animal activity based on evidence you've collected. Easily customizable by pin to toggle off if you don't want heatmap to show.
- Hillshade. Simply select the direction the sun is facing and create a visual on the hillside. Great for planning stand setups or using the light to your advantage.
- Trail Cameras. Manage trail camera locations & direction with advanced auto directional detection.
- Advanced Filtering. Show or hide what's on screen by pin, color, date, & more.
- Offline maps. When you know you heading off grid download the view of where you're going in advance.
