• Extensive Database: Explore over 190+ buildings on campus, including 140+ academic and administrative buildings where classes and campus activities take place, and 50+ student halls where you can find on-campus living spaces. Whether you're looking for a building or residence hall, UMass Locator has you covered.
Developed by a Former Student:
Designed by a former UMass Amherst alumnus, the comprehensive database powering UMass Locator was developed from scratch during the Spring semester of 2024 in collaboration with the Sustainability Department.
Sustainability and Wellness:
The mission of UMass Locator is to improve the quality of life on campus and support a sustainable future. UMass Locator integrates with ongoing sustainability initiatives, like the UMass Zero Waste initiative and the Campus Race to Zero Waste yearly competition. Our app helps you find hydration stations easily, promoting healthy hydration habits, reducing the use of plastic bottled water, and contributing to a greener campus.
