Descrição
Smartkalea es un proyecto de implementaciones smart para testear y validar dicho modelo para su expansión a otros ámbitos geográficos y convertir la ciudad de Donostia en un punto de referencia Smart.
Más concretamente, SmartKalea fomenta la sostenibilidad medioambiental, la eficiencia energética, la participación ciudadana y la transparencia utilizando tecnología puntera de colaboradores tecnológicos locales, integrando los datos en la plataforma smart del proyecto para su monitorización y obtención de indicadores.
En 2014 el proyecto SmartKalea comenzó a implementarse en la Calle Mayor. Los buenos resultados del piloto permitieron seguir avanzando en el proyecto y replicarlo en la Parte Vieja y en el barrio de Altza. Por último, en 2020 se está añadiendo al proyecto la Avenida del Sancho el Sabio de la ciudad.
