Your DIGGER profile is secure and cannot be viewed by other users or subscribed companies. Only when you give consent by taping on the "DIG IT" icon.
Through Digger, you create a profile, selecting skills & capabilities from an extensive standardized drop-down list which is aligned to the needs of the corporate
DIGGER has been pre-populated with mining industry specific job titles, commodities, operations, qualifications, universities, Technikons, and professional memberships.
Each of these sections has its own experience selector to show years of experience in each field. This makes it very easy to create a detailed profile.
Your DIGGER profile information includes technical background, qualifications, a photo, a personality test, as well as relevant documentation attached to your profile.
DIGGER offers a secure place to store your documentation, like your ID, Qualifications, Certificates etc…
Once you have been notified of a potential vacancy, you can view the vacancy and the marketing video of the mine, as well as the mine surrounding area video for additional information. This provides the individual with the power to make an informed decision in a short time. The individual can then choose to pursue the opportunity by tapping on the “DIG IT” icon or discard the position
The mining client, meanwhile, will be informed of only the interested individuals, and will then be able to view their complete profile and contact them directly.
You can also complete online training courses, and view skills development videos, whilst scrolling through world mining news, on the app’s home-screen.
The DIGGER APP, ensures continues feedback to professionals entering the recruitment process, thus keeping you informed at all times.
With the DIGGER App, you can serve your mining friends and colleagues by sharing or tagging them in career development opportunities that arise.
