HyperID Authenticator
HyperID Authenticator is an easy-to-use, intuitive, and security-focused mobile application that provides instant ways to augment your existing password-based protection by managing online account security with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

The application secures your account by generating both event-based (HOTP) and time-based (TOTP) one-time passwords (OTP) for advanced account protection against phishing and keyloggers.

The Authenticator is part of HyperID, a secure and innovative platform for identity and access management services. HyperID employs protection built on a patented hyper-secure data transfer technology, SDNP.

The platform develops next-generation, technologically advanced solutions based on the WEB3.0 concept, operating at the forefront of decentralization, cryptocurrencies, and connectivity.

The platform also allows you to register multiple accounts with a single ID. You can use it to authorize to social media and perform a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedure, thus creating a vast network of interconnected applications.

Features and Benefits

The application's feature-rich security suite presents users with plenty of benefits.

To sign in to your accounts, the app allows you to set up the generation of secure OTP by scanning a QR code or a device's built-in digital secret key.

Because the codes are generated directly on your device, the app allows you to sign in to your services momentarily and confidently. This security measure adds one more security layer to your account, helping to keep it safe from cybercriminals even if your password is compromised or stolen.

You can still receive codes without an internet connection or mobile service.

With MFA enabled, you can:
• confirm highly sensitive actions
• manage single sign-on sessions
• control access rights
• use biometrics to authorize services

Other features let you:
• Strengthen code generation security using predefined cryptographic hash algorithms: SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512
• Specify the desired time step or counter when adding a new account. The period is not limited to 30 seconds.
• Get detailed information about your account requests
• Analyze data about your active sessions
• Add accounts for different kinds of services

Technology

HyperID is a sophisticated, multi-faceted security solution that incorporates industry-leading, innovative data encryption and access control technologies that underpin its infrastructure.

Technologies used:
• Advanced OpenID Connect Standard (OAuth 2.0). It accelerates the login process, eliminates the need to remember multiple passwords, and lessens the security concerns associated with storing passwords.
• Distributed Key Generation (DKG). In order to prevent unauthorized parties from obtaining both your user keys and your data, it produces and stores encryption keys in a distributed fashion. Neither HyperID nor Service Providers have access to your keys.
• Public-Key Cryptography. Due to this encryption key exchange method, you can securely convey information between services while ensuring the secrecy of your data and maintaining earlier granted permissions.
