This application offers a scale for calculating values within a standard range of base powers. The calculation assumes that the central corneal power falls within the normal range. \n\nThe resulting numbers are applicable for use with most modern posterior chamber intraocular lenses. The estimated effective lens position for the ciliary sulcus is 4.70 mm, while the assumed effective lens position for the capsular bag is 5.20 mm.
IOL Refocus does not provide medical or treatment advice and should not be regarded as such by the user. This tool is designed to assist physicians in choosing the appropriate IOL for a specific patient.
