Create as many stories as you'd like, save them on your iPad as well. And, bring the stories to life with an illustration of the main character as well!
Created by a developer at risk of losing the ability to speak, Talk to Me, Goose! renders text to speech in more than 20 realistic, high-quality voices and more than 30 languages. If you're looking for help with mobile text to speech, speech generation, or augmented or alternative communication support, Talk to Me, Goose! is the right tool for you.

On download of the app, you create an account to try out the service, and you get 1,000 character tokens free to try things out. If you like what you see (and hear!) you can subscribe at various levels on a monthly basis from 6,500 characters per month to 500,000 characters per month dependent on your needs. Or, you can just buy the character tokens you need in bundles from 1,000 tokens to 100,000 tokens. So, get exactly what you need. Each 1,000 characters synthesizes about 1 minute of speech. All users can create as many stories as they would like, and each user can synthesize one story into speech without a subscription or needing additional characters. After the first story is synthesized into speech, additional characters or a subscription are required.
The initial use case was built for someone recently diagnosed with motor neuron disease who was at risk of losing his ability to speak. Leveraging the latest in AI voice technology and Generative AI, Talk to Me, Goose! renders realistic, emotionally rich speech from text quickly and affordably, in the palm of your hand. Enabling you to use more than 20 voices in more than 30 languages, Talk to Me, Goose! can synthesize as much as 40 minutes of speech at once using the lower latency model. The higher-quality model will render approximately 10 minutes of speech at once. Download the app and try it out.
