But each focuses on one thing at a time and often ends the moment your phone locks or you switch apps. With TimerVana, you’re not just setting a timer — you’re designing a flow, a sequence of steps, a guided timer story that powers cooking, training, studying, routines, and more.
Why TimerVana is different
• Sequence-first design. Instead of a single timer, TimerVana lets you build step-by-step workflows: e.g. “Preheat → Chop → Cook → Rest → Serve” for a recipe, or “Warm-up → Work → Rest → Repeat” for a HIIT session. Each step lives within the same session and knows its place in the whole.
• Local-first, privacy-respecting. Your timers, your data. Unless you choose to share, everything runs on your device. No hidden uploads. No surprise tracking.
• Background and locked-screen reliability. Many timers pause or mute when your screen turns off or you switch apps. TimerVana takes advantage of iOS 26+ AlarmKit (on supported devices) so that even if your phone is locked, your alerts still sound. On older devices we fall back to local notifications—so you stay notified.

Publish your favorite timer sequences, browse what others have built (workouts, recipes, study routines, ADHD-friendly timers) and import them in one tap. Sharing isn’t an afterthought—it’s built in.
• Simple to use, powerful to build. Yes it’s easy enough to set up a 3-step timer in minutes. But if you want to build multi-hour routines, pin an end time, or build timed dependencies (e.g., start Step 3 only after Step 1 completes and Step 2 runs concurrently) — TimerVana has you covered.
