Description
Þetta er 11. biblíuútgáfan á íslensku og kom út 2007. Um nýþýðingu er að ræða, þá sjöttu frá upphafi. Þýtt var eftir frummálunum en við yfirferð studdust þýðingarnefndir Gamla og Nýja testamentisins — sem ákvörðuðu að lokum hver textinn skyldi vera — við eldri útgáfur íslenskar, sem og nýjar þýðingar frá Danmörku, Noregi og Svíþjóð, og svo þýskar Biblíur, breskar og bandarískar. Þýðingin inniheldur apókrýfu bækurnar.
Hljóðbók Biblíunnar kom út árið 2024. Lesarar eru Þóra Karítas Árnadóttir, Guðrún Ásmundsdóttir, Arnar Jónsson, Guðjón Davíð Karlsson, Kristján Franklín Magnús, Steinunn Jóhannesdóttir, Álfrún Helga Örnólfsdóttir, Eggert Kaaber og Ragnheiður Steindórsdóttir.
