• Redesigned timeline: switch between events, births and deaths separately – events now take center stage by default, in clear chronological order instead of being buried under deaths.
• "On this day" loads noticeably faster: entries appear instantly while images and details load in the background.
• Smoother scrolling and a tidier Timeline tab (zoom level moved into a menu).
• New: milestone anniversaries are highlighted – e.g. "50 years ago".
• New: AI summaries of Wikipedia articles – generated on device, no cloud (Apple Intelligence, iPhone 15 Pro or later).
• New: interactive "What happened before and after?" timeline with expandable stops.
• New: "Then & now" shows which country a place belonged to over time.
