We’ve listened to your feedback and are rolling out a new version of CMZ (ConnectMazjid) — the masjid app designed to keep you connected with your local masjid, prayer times, and Islamic events. This update brings important bug fixes, performance improvements, and enhanced features for a seamless experience.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Iqamah Fix – Resolved the issue where no Iqamah was showing on the Home Screen Clock.
Arabic Number Support – Fixed Home Screen timer and prayer times to properly show Arabic numbers when the Arabic language is selected.
Masjid Notifications – Fixed the bug where users received previous default masjid notifications when switching to location-based settings.
Services Screen – Deactivated services will no longer appear on the Services screen.
Event & Program Links – External links in Event and Program descriptions now open correctly in your browser.
Masjid Verification Text – Fixed wording when a masjid is verified on the Masjid Detail Screen.
UI Spacing – Removed extra spaces from Events, Prayer Times, Services, and Program bottom sheets.
Announcements Notifications – Added proper separation between title and description for announcements.
Timezone Accuracy – Fixed Event/Program notification times to match masjid timezones instead of local device time.
Donation Screen Loading – Now shows proper loading indicators when accessing the Mosque Donation App feature.
Event/Program Search – Fixed search issues for finding Masjid events and Muslim events quickly.
Sticky Notification Spelling – Corrected spelling errors in persistent notifications for Salah reminders and Athan Plus alerts.
Splash Screen Update – App now remains usable even if there are token failures, improving reliability.
New Enhancements
App Cache Management – Improved cache handling for smoother performance when viewing Masjid events, Islamic events, and prayer times.
Better Error Messages – More descriptive and appropriate error alerts for a clearer user experience.
Special Timings Notifications – Added special prayer time notifications to the common notification queue so you never miss a Texas masjid event or Islamic prayer time update.
