imanlock closes the apps you choose around each of the five daily prayers. They open again when the prayer window ends, or the moment you mark your prayer, whichever comes first. You're not paying for your apps with ṣalāh. The window closes because it's time to pray, and opens because that time has passed.
HOW IT WORKS
• Choose the apps that pull you away: social media, video, games, anything.
• By default, they close 15 minutes before each prayer and stay closed until 15 minutes after it.
• When they close, you see a verse from the Qur'an instead of your feed.
• Tap "I've prayed" and they open again. No timers to game, nothing to unlock.
PRAYER TIMES, CALCULATED ON YOUR IPHONE
• Accurate times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Aṣr, Maghrib and Ishā, recalculated every day for where you are
• Choose your calculation method, madhhab (Ḥanafī or Shāfi'ī Aṣr) and high-latitude rule
• A reminder at each prayer time
• A reminder before each window, and a Live Activity counting down to the next prayer
• A prayer rug widget for your Home Screen and Lock Screen
A STREAK THAT UNDERSTANDS THE DĪN
• Mark each prayer and watch the month fill in, one day at a time
• No red crosses, no shame. Missed days are simply left empty
• Pause your streak for ḥayḍ or travel. Those days never count against you
THE QUR'AN, OFFLINE
• All 114 sūrahs and 6,236 verses in Uthmani script, with Marmaduke Pickthall's English translation
• Works with no connection
• Bookmarks, and it remembers where you stopped
• Pickthall's introductions to 83 sūrahs, from his 1930 edition
LEARN, ONE STORY AT A TIME
• The Prophets: 25 stories, from Ādam to Muḥammad, peace be upon him, each told from the Qur'an
• Inside the Prayer: 8 lessons on what you're saying and doing in each part of ṣalāh
• Sūrahs You Already Know: 20 short sūrahs you recite every day, explained
• A question at the end of each, with a private journal for your answer
DHIKR AND QIBLA
• A tasbīḥ counter for the dhikr after prayer: SubḥānAllāh 33, Alḥamdulillāh 33, Allāhu Akbar 34
• A Qibla compass that points from wherever you are
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• Your prayer times are calculated on your iPhone
• iOS never tells us which apps you closed, and we can't see what you do in them
• Your prayer log and journal stay on your iPhone, and in your own private iCloud if you choose. We can't read either
SOURCES YOU CAN TRUST
Qur'an text from Tanzil, reproduced verbatim. Hadith from HadeethEnc.com, reproduced without modification. Spot an error? Report it from the app and it gets fixed.
SUBSCRIPTION
Prayer times with a reminder at each one, the prayer log, the Qur'an, dhikr, Qibla and the first lesson of every series are free. A subscription adds app closing at prayer times, the reminder before each window, the Live Activity, the widget, every lesson and your Progress insights. Some plans include a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
