Luminos Pro includes many free features, including 5 million stars, constellations, 5,000 years of eclipses, all of the planets and moons in the solar system, Messier objects, comets, bright satellites, and meteor showers. Also included for free is motion-tracking with AR and VR modes, an Apple Watch app, and desktop widgets for iOS!
Upgrade to a subscription or All-Access Pass and you get 3D flight to ride along with satellites, spacecraft, asteroids, or comets, or to fly to planets or their moons, exoplanets, most stars, and many star clusters, plus you get weather forecasts, making it easy to plan the best night for stargazing!
With a subscription or All-Access Pass you'll also get over 250 million Gaia DR3 stars, double stars from the Washington Double Star Catalog, variable stars from the General Catalog of Variable Stars and Gaia, exoplanets, spacecraft, all satellite categories, all asteroids from the Minor Planet Center, observation lists, observation equipment, telescope control, and comprehensive viewing recommendations!

- This major update brings powerful new features and refinements across the app. The sky now looks more realistic than ever thanks to a new high-resolution Earth atmosphere model with smoother color gradients. Sky View supports dynamic text sizes for better readability, and you can now import Observer Pro horizon files (.hrz) for precise local horizons.
Telescope control has gained major improvements: Luminos Pro now supports game controllers (joysticks), adds pulse guiding for many telescope models, and introduces Touch Guiding for intuitive control without needing to look at the screen. Observation settings are easier to access, and Hour Angle is now included in all objects’ Live Data.
There are also many fixes and interface improvements throughout the app — from better layouts on small screens to smoother tracking markers and more consistent colors. Crashes in city and field-of-view editors have been resolved, Uranus’ rings are visible again, and numerous display and navigation bugs have been eliminated. Thank you for sharing your crash reports and helping make Luminos Pro better with every release.
