Smart Dictionary helps children and young learners understand new words using simple explanations, clear examples, and friendly illustrations - all designed especially for young learners.
I built this app for my children who loves reading books but struggled to understand definitions using using traditional dictionaries. And most children's dictionaries offered very limited number of words that they can look up (so not ideal for avid readers over the age of 7).
With Smart Dictionary, they can look up any real word that are safe and age-appropriate, and every definition is tailored to a child’s age group, making learning feel approachable, fun, and confidence-building.
This app has helped my children learn so many new words when they are reading by themselves, so I wanted to share it with other families.
