Twitcher is the most comprehensive pocket guide app for all the birds of New Zealand, featuring over 250 species. Never before has this array of information been so easily accessible. Detailed descriptions, call audio, statistics, remaining population information, and more is available in one place, right from your pocket — no more bulky guidebooks or relying on dodgy internet when you're out and about.
Whether you're an all-out ornithologist, a bird nerd or a humble backyard birder, Twitcher is for all birders alike.
CARING FOR OUR TĀONGA:
New Zealand is home to a plethora of unique birds found nowhere else on the planet. Unfortunately, this place they call home is under constant threat from introduced predators, development, intensive farming, and climate change. That's why we decided to create Twitcher. To help educate, raise awareness, and give our remaining manu one last chance before it's too late.
Because we are committed to helping protect our natural tāonga in every way possible, 20% of all profits go straight into conservation, right where it matters most.
Why? Because we want to inspire a culture that cares about the environment. We want to invest in rich and healthy ecosystems where local biodiversity and endemic wildlife thrive so that future generations can keep on twitching!
