Talking Camera is a simple app that uses AI to recognize scenes in your camera footage and instantly provide audio descriptions. No server connection or login required. Works on older devices (the demo video was run on an iPhone 11). The moment you think of it, your surroundings become "spoken."
What it Does

How to Use
- Open the app
- Point the camera
- Audio commentary will begin in the language you select (you can easily change the language in the settings screen).
Privacy: Camera footage and inferences are processed locally on the device and are not transmitted externally.
System Requirements
- iPhone: Requires iOS 18.0 or later.
- iPad: Requires iPadOS 18.0 or later.
- Even with these OS versions, the app may not function properly on older models.
- Operation has been confirmed on iPhone 11.
