If you are a soldiers, sailor or airman, airwoman (this app it completely FREE to use for you and your friends). Login, setup as much or as little as you want, including your BFPO address and go to our shopping catalogue of over 9,000 products (take from Tesco, with their permission), you can then choose the items you need or want and build a wishlist. From the care package wishlist you can then select how regular you need an item, toothpaste every 2 weeks, orange cordial every 3 weeks or a pair of sock as a one off requirement & even how many of an item you need, then choose when you need them giving dates and now save them to your care package requirements. You can add your own products, which we might add to the main catalogue, for everyone to use.
Once you have your care package list, then share it, by text, by email or on social media. Let all your friends see you have a wishlist of needs, they can login and see the list and decide which items to send you. This is stock controlled so if someone selects an item, it is removed from the list (for a specified time), so that you don’t get 10 bars of soap (unless your friends are trying to tell you something!). We put you in control, now you can receive what you actually need not just a few random items which you don’t actually need.
Your friends, relatives and any other supporters can login, see and select the items they wish to send, then via the app have their list to go shopping or they can print out the pdf of their list and go shopping. The Pdf has your bfpo details preprinted at the bottom so they just simply fold it and Sellotape it to the shoebox full of goodie and post it at their post office.
Now isn’t that simple and more importantly, knowing you as a serving British forces member can control what you are going to receive in your goodie box but your friends and relatives will know that they are posting their care packages full of the things you actually need or want. Finally, there is a better way that your supporters can send their love and appreciation and know that what they send is what you actually need. You are appreciated for serving our country, we just want to show what we think by sending care packages to show that we do care.
