描述
La principal característica de la aplicación es que entregará información de manera fácil e intuitiva acerca de la aptitud productiva para una serie de especies de interés agrícola, para un escenario de clima actual y proyectado. Esta información ha sido generada por CIREN a través de diferentes estudios realizados en distintas regiones del país.
A modo de introducción metodológica, la aptitud productiva de una especie se estima mediante dos modelos, uno climático y otro de suelo. Ambos modelos cuantifican la respuesta productiva de la planta, tanto a las condiciones climáticas como a las edáficas, calculándose la aptitud climática y la aptitud de suelo. Finalmente, el valor de la aptitud productiva corresponderá al factor más limitante entre ambos modelos. Algunos parámetros utilizados para ambos modelos son:
· Modelo climático: suma térmica, horas frío, ocurrencia de heladas, temperatura y humedad relativa.
· Modelo de suelo: textura, profundidad, pH, pedregosidad y pendiente.
