- New vocabulary recognizing "square", "squared", "cubic", and "cubed" (and abbreviations "sq", "sqr", "sqrd", "cu", and "cbd") as possible leading words for a small set of macroscopic length units, allowing prefixed forms of some common multi-dimensional spatial units:
- Length units recognized with prefixes are: inches, feet, yards, miles, nautical miles, millimeters, centimeters, meters, and kilometers (in all their singular, plural, and abbreviated forms)

New vocabulary recognizing compound (and alternate) versions of some two-word idioms in the existing vocabulary:
