With Chess Timer, you can simulate real tournament time controls anywhere. Tap to start your opponent’s clock, pause the game with a single touch, or reset instantly for your next match. HOW IT WORKS
Tap the center play button to start both timers. The first tap activates the top clock, counting down your opponent’s time. Tap the active section when your turn ends—it stops your timer and starts theirs. Each player’s clock runs alternately, ensuring fair timing just like in over-the-board tournaments. The middle timer keeps track of total session duration, while move counters update automatically.

When only 8 seconds remain, the timer turns red and plays a short beep each second—a psychological nudge that builds focus and tension, just like a real match clock. If you need to take a break, tap pause; everything freezes instantly. When ready, resume or reset with a single tap.
