EasyNote: The Story of a Developer and His Inspiration Tool

Sometimes a product is born not from a grand vision, but from a simple, very real need. EasyNote came into existence because I realized I needed a tool that could *capture ideas instantly*—without friction, without delay.

After resetting my phone, I didn’t reinstall EasyNote right away. I didn’t think much of it—until one day in a meeting, a powerful idea flashed through my mind. I reached for my phone, opened the default notes app, switched pages… and the idea disappeared as quickly as it came.

At that moment, I understood something very clearly:
**without EasyNote, my thinking flow was completely interrupted.**

In the days after, more ideas came—while walking, commuting, before sleep—but without a quick tool to record them, they slipped away. That’s when I truly realized the value of EasyNote and decided to start maintaining it again.

## Why is EasyNote so important to me?

Because of one simple reason:
**It opens instantly at the exact moment I need it.**

EasyNote doesn’t chase complexity or structure. It doesn’t force folders, titles, templates, or decisions. You open it, type, and the thought is saved.

EasyNote looks minimal, but every feature is carefully refined:

* **Flexible lists**: insert new lines, reorganize content freely
* **Local reminders** so future-you can revisit key ideas at the right moment

**to make note-taking effortless.**

## EasyNote is where my development journey truly began

EasyNote was the first official app I built.
Through it, I learned UI design, data structuring, performance optimization, input handling, launch-time improvements, memory control, and smooth interaction design.

These skills became the foundation for a much larger project later on—my social app **TopStream（顶流）**.

Without EasyNote, I wouldn’t have had the experience or mindset needed to create something as complex as TopStream.

In many ways:
**EasyNote was the beginning. TopStream is the extension.**

## My philosophy of tools: useful like air

I believe good tools should feel like air:

* never intrusive
* never complicated
* always there when you need them
* invisible until the exact moment they become indispensable

EasyNote doesn’t try to be flashy or feature-heavy.

**it keeps your inspiration from slipping away.**
