描述
Via de microfoon van je telefoon kun je het lawaai meten. De uitslag van de meting wordt gegeven in gevarenzones zodat je direct kan zien hoeveel risico op gehoorschade je loopt.
Of het lawaai schadelijk is voor je oren, hangt af van het volume en de tijdsduur. In de Arbowet is bijvoorbeeld vastgelegd dat boven de 80 dB je werkgever verplicht is om gehoorbescherming te geven. Met deze app kan je bepalen op hoeveel bescherming je recht hebt.
Door het gebruik van deze app word je bewuster van het risico dat je loopt wanneer er veel lawaai is op de werkplek. Bij hoge metingen wordt altijd geadviseerd om het gesprek aan te gaan met de werkgever en indien nodig door deskundigen een lawaaionderzoek te laten uitvoeren met professionele, gekalibreerde apparatuur.
