描述
Desde su creación, en el año 1999, se atendió a más de 600 niños y adolescentes. Hoy, cuidamos y protegemos a aproximadamente 200 chicos en las diferentes modalidades de intervención: Fortalecimiento Familiar, Centros de Día, Cuidados Alternativos basados en Familia (acogimiento familiar) y Hogares Convivenciales.
UNICEF mencionó a Ieladeinu como el proyecto más innovador de América Latina (2005). El Dr. Jorge Rivera Pizarro, entonces representante de UNICEF Argentina, declaró: “Ieladeinu no es solamente valioso para los niños judíos que atiende, constituye un paradigma, un modelo a seguir de cómo deben abordarse estos problemas”.
Con el apoyo de dicha organización en el año 2008 se publicó el libro “Maltrato infantil, el abordaje innovador del Programa Ieladeinu”, que fue distribuido entre profesionales y referentes del tema como así también llegó al público en general a través de las librerías más importantes del país.
En 2016 se publicó, también junto a UNICEF Argentina, Tenemos Derechos: un documento sobre Derechos de los Niños, creado por y para Jóvenes.
Ieladeinu es miembro de la Red de Hogares de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, de la Red Latinoamericana de Acogimiento Familiar (RELAF), de la Red Nacional de Acogimiento Familiar, y miembro asesor del proyecto de Ley de Egreso Asistido presentado en las Cámaras del Congreso de la Nación.
Entre algunos de los reconocimientos institucionales, la Legislatura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires declaró al Programa Ieladeinu de Interés Social, y la Honorable Cámara de Diputados de la Nación declaró de interés parlamentario de carácter social.
