الوصف
Pero al mismo tiempo, uno de los principales inconvenientes que presentan los pueblos del entorno rural es el problema de la movilidad, tanto entre los pueblos del territorio como entre los pueblos y las capitales de provincia (a las que a veces se hace imprescindible acudir para determinadas cuestiones que no se pueden solventar en la comarca), y es que las líneas de transporte público prestan servicios tan limitados que apenas dan cobertura a las necesidades que existen o bien las circunstancias de las familias (personas mayores, familias con escasos recursos, la falta de carnet de conducir…) dificultan la movilidad.
Las comarcas de Las Merindades y de la Montaña Palentina, no están exentas de esta dificultad, donde cinco o seis localidades de más de 380 y 200 respectivamente, concentran la práctica totalidad de dichos servicios y más del 70 % del empleo no agrario. Una dificultad que sufren especialmente personas mayores y jóvenes sin vehículo propio, pero que es extensible a toda la población y que supone una exigencia e inversión que no se da en el medio urbano.
Partiendo del objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas que conforman nuestras comarcas facilitándoles el acceso a los diferentes servicios y junto al fomento de una movilidad sostenible y ecológica, el hecho de poder compartir coche es una muy buena solución. Por ello nos parece fundamental contar con una herramienta de este tipo, que posibilita hasta el punto de poner en contacto necesidades y voluntades.
Esta aplicación permitiría poner en contacto a las personas con una necesidad de transporte dentro de los territorios rurales, con aquellas que frecuentemente se desplazan en él y apuestan por hacer sus viajes más sostenibles y sociales. Así como también con aquellas personas que se desplazan fuera del territorio para la realización de gestiones u otras actividades.
