Stud Metal Detector & Finder uses the device magnetometer to measure magnetic field changes and help you detect magnetic metal objects and locate studs containing metal fasteners. The app provides accurate, real-time data readings, making it useful for simple wall checks, DIY tasks, and identifying metal, stud or live wires around you.

The app displays magnetic field values numerically and visually through a trend graph. As magnetic metals such as steel or iron come closer to the device, the magnetic field strength increases. This helps you identify the likely presence of screws, nails, brackets, or other magnetic materials within walls or surfaces.
