تهدف وزارة الأشغال العامة إلى إنشاء تطبيق يحقق الأهداف الاستراتيجية والرؤية التي تطمح إليها إدارة نظم المعلومات من خلال توفير خدمات إلكترونية على الهواتف الذكية من شأنها أن تسهل المعاملات وتوفر الوقت والجهد المبذول من المواطنين والجهات الخارجية وموظفي الوزارة في إطار بيئة رقمية حديثة.
يشكل مشروع الهواتف الذكية حجر الأساس لتطبيق الخدمات والتعاملات الإلكترونية التي تقدمها وزارة الأشغال العامة، ويقلل من المركزية في تطبيق التعاملات بأكبر قدر ممكن، مع توحيد الآليات والإجراءات. وتهدف الخدمات، وتماشياً مع الأهداف العامة لاستراتيجية نظم المعلومات
