Our Sound Meter & Decibel dB Meter application does not record any sound. When the application is open, instant measurement is made and the results are shown on the screen instantly.
You can detect high decibel levels that affect your health while combating noise pollution.
For more accurate results, there is a calibration feature where you can easily calibrate your device.
The reference table of decibel levels is as follows.
140 dB: Fireworks and gunfire,
130 dB: Drill sound and jet takeoff,
120 dB: Ambulance siren and thunder,
110 dB: Concerts and symphony orchestra,
100 dB: Train and car horn,
90 dB: Lawn mower noise,
80 dB: City traffic and blender noise,
70 dB: Washing machine noise,
60 dB: Background music and speech,
50 dB: Quiet office and refrigerator noise,
40 dB: Quiet room and light rain,
30 dB: Library and whispering,
20 dB: Wall clock sound,
