Using ‘Waste Not! ‘ eliminates the problems that are associated with donating unwanted household items.
Every year thousands of good reusable items are put out in hard waste collections. Many people try to sell these items or even give them away for free but the whole process can be difficult and time consuming.
You have to organise a suitable day and time for a collection that also suits the recipient of the goods. Then often people reschedule or don’t turn up to collect as promised, or simply stop responding.
As a recipient of donated items you are also faced with often strict pick up times or even told to pick up immediately or they will give the items to someone else. This puts a lot of pressure on the part of the recipient.
Ideally, people don’t want these items to end up in landfill but when time is precious it’s often a choice people feel that they are forced to make but now there is a way to make the process easier.
This is when ‘Waste Not! ‘ will assist you.
A Completely Contactless way of donating unwanted household items from ‘Donation to Collection’.
Simply post your items via Waste Not! The collector will view your post then will collect some or all of your items.
Yours and the recipients actions have made a positive step for the future good of the planet.

So the next time you book a hard waste collection consider first listing it via the app.
You may have some items you think could be reused, just as they are or with a little love and attention could be brought back to life.
