Yukon Chamber of Mines Portal
The Yukon Chamber of Mines represents a dynamic membership and, since its creation of a few founding members in 1943, has worked to serve its valued members and advance the interests of all those involved in the Yukon mining industry – Yukon’s primary economic driver. Significant discoveries and newly-opened mines and a commitment to responsibility place the Yukon at the forefront of the mining industry.

Explore the YCM Portal to discover, engage and interact with YCM members, industry and the public. Through the portal, the public gains access to leaders, influencers and the latest industry information, including the Yukon Mineral Directory – available year-round. The directory includes information and contacts for exploration and mining companies, supply and service, institutions and governments and education and NGOs.

In 2022 Yukon’s exploration expenditures topped $125M, with development expenditures topping $104M. In the Dawson planning region alone, a total of $656M and $147M has been spent on exploration and development, respectively. These expenditures from Yukon’s mining industry have, and continue to be, a responsible and sustainable contributor to Yukon’s communities and economy. The territory’s exploration and mining industry provides jobs, training opportunities and positive social impacts in Yukon communities.

The Yukon Chamber of Mines works with governments, communities and industry to facilitate an environment of responsible development.
