• TideCast proprietary prediction algorithm that uses machine learning and refreshes every 6 hours based on live Hohonu sensor data– up to 80% more accurate than traditional tidal forecasts.
• See stations nearby, or search the map for other locations and tap the heart to add to your Favorites.
• Weather conditions - view wind, sun and moon phase, temperature, and rain at each station (data source: NOAA).
• Share tide data via text, email, and social media.

Did you know that traditional tide predictions are based on historical data that don’t update with the latest observed readings? Hohonu aims to disrupt traditional tide forecasting methods by bringing live water level data and actionable insights right to your phone.
• Live tide sensors are labeled “Live”, with bar graphs showing recently-observed water levels.
• Stations labeled “Subordinate” are prediction-only locations that use NOAA’s prediction data.
• Long press on the graph and slide to see the predicted or observed tide levels at a specific time, past or future.
• Tap a station to see details for that location, including wind, precipitation, temperature, and UV index.
• Scroll along the calendar at the top to see predictions up to 12 months in advance for select stations
