Whether you’re using automatic location or entering a ZIP/postal code manually, WBGT Estimator taps directly into Apple WeatherKit to pull hyper-local data, including temperature, humidity, wind speed, cloud cover, and UV index. You can even switch to “Feels Like” mode for an alternative view of heat stress that better reflects human comfort levels.
The calculation is fully customizable—users can toggle the influence of wind, UV, and cloud cover to tailor readings to their specific needs or policies.
The clean interface features color-coded flag conditions with easy-to-understand safety guidance tailored to work, exercise, or outdoor leisure. Scroll through the hourly forecast to monitor how conditions evolve, tap any flag condition to update automatically, and rely on the built-in location display to confirm where the data applies.
When it’s time to share, built-in options let you send daily WBGT summaries via email, text, or copy them to your clipboard for flexible use across platforms. A quick-access external link also connects you to additional resources on WBGT, flag meanings, and heat safety practices.
