Description
Caissa runs locally, so your games and positions remain on your computer during normal analysis. See expected outcomes, forced mates, an evaluation bar, board arrows, and up to five candidate lines. Select any line to play its first move and explore the idea. Optionally enable the Lichess tablebase for exact results in eligible positions with seven or fewer pieces.
Lucena marks mistakes and blunders based on changes in expected score, helping you see where a game changed and what you could try instead.
Study in your own way:
• Open or drag in PGN files
• Load positions from FEN and copy the current FEN
• Navigate games from the move list or with keyboard shortcuts
• Branch into continuations without losing the original line
• Flip the board and choose your preferred board palette
• Adjust engine threads, hash memory, and analysis lines
Play against Caissa: start a game as White or Black, tune the engine’s think time and move variety, and save your game as a PGN for later review.
