描述
The app allows you to choose to delete metadata such as author, creation date, edit time, etc. This can be useful for contract documents, questionnaires, blank resume forms, etc. to prevent employee data leaks from the company, to comply with legal requirements like GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) etc.
The app will be useful for documents that are published on the Internet, for example, if information about the company's employees should not be published.

Warnings! There is a wide variety of file formats, file versions, and tools from different vendors for editing them. And there are differences in how these formats are interpreted and source files are edited by these many different tools. So sometimes some source files can be processed in unexpected ways. In particular, we have received 2 notifications from users in 6 months about a problem opening a cleaned .doc file (you can see them in the feedback). However, we hope that this tool is still of great benefit for most cases.
