Description
It is NOT a password manager. Anything that has to outlive today's work belongs in a real vault. This is the layer above that. Somewhere to put the keys and tokens you're actively using, that encrypts them and forgets them by default.
THE PROBLEM
During development, secrets end up somewhere they shouldn't: a scratch file, an untitled tab, a note, the clipboard. Not because anyone thinks that's fine, but
because getting a key out of a real vault takes a minute and you need it eight times in the next hour.
Those copies are the problem. They're in plaintext, indexed by Spotlight, and nothing ever cleans them up. A key pasted into a scratch file in March is still
there in September.
HOW IT WORKS
• Everything expires. Three days by default, adjustable globally or per item.
• Nothing is stored in the clear. AES-256-GCM at rest, decrypted in memory only
while unlocked.
• Being in the app is not permission to see. Revealing a secret asks again.
• Paste once, typed automatically. Copy a key, press Cmd-Shift-V, and the right
template opens with the fields already filled in.

• Recycle bin with a retention period
SECURITY
• AES-256-GCM via Apple's CryptoKit
• Vault key wrapped by a Secure Enclave key that cannot leave this Mac
• Touch ID to unlock, and again to reveal
• 160-bit recovery code, shown once, printable
• Sandboxed. No network code of any kind. No account. No analytics.
• No third-party dependencies
There is no server and no telemetry. Your vault is one encrypted file on your Mac, and nobody else can open it — including us.
