With Product Builder, you can create signed packages ready to be transmitted using the Application Loader (by Apple and included with the Developer tools) to the Mac App Store with ease.
FEATURES:
• Drag and drop functionality for easy package creation
• Handles applications with spaces in the name correctly
• Option to include release string in the package name for organization
• Auto-creates a package without spaces in the name for correct submission to the App Store
• Correctly handles submission of sandboxed apps with signed entitlements
• Option to check for MASReceipt to avoid building from an already authenticated app
• Supports any alternate development environment (to XCode)
• Full diagnostic of the package creation in a log area
• PDF User Guide included and accessible from the Help Menu
WHY USE IT:
• Indicated for LiveCode, Xamarin, and other alternative development environment users who cannot create a package and send it directly to the App Store
• Correctly submits applications with spaces in the application name
• Makes the repetitive creation of packages a breeze and eliminates errors during submission to the App Store
USAGE:
• Insert the correct setup information once
• Launch Product Builder and drag the application to submit from the Finder to the Product Builder window
• Confirm the destination and source folder via the open dialog
• And that's it! The package is ready for submission to the App Store.
