Practice smarter with a built-in spaced repetition engine that updates intervals, ease factor, and next review dates. Choose from multiple modes:
• Spaced
• Focus
• Blitz
Use the Practice tab to select decks, apply tag filters, and review deck-level progress snapshots. Enable distraction-free practice or hide card fronts for active recall.
The Dashboard provides:
• Total categories, decks, and flashcards
• Recently used decks
• Deck cards with mastery bars, stats, and tag chips
Personalize the app:
• Light, dark, or system theme
• Default card font size
• Preferred font weight
Your flashcards, decks, and settings are stored locally using Hive. When you want to move to a new device, use the backup tools:
• Export all data as a JSON file
• Share it via the iOS share sheet
• Import a JSON backup you select
• Merge with existing data
FlashMaster Pro includes banner ads and optional rewarded ads to support development. Ads use Google Mobile Ads with non-personalized ad requests.

New Dashboard
• A dedicated dashboard now gives you instant insight into your decks, cards, categories, streaks, and recent activity.
• Recent decks open directly into the correct category and sub-deck for faster navigation.
Rebuilt Deck & Category Management
• Decks and categories now use a cleaner, modern layout with solid surfaces, shadows, and curated color swatches.
• The new color badge selector provides a consistent palette everywhere (categories, decks, flashcards).
• Decks display richer metadata: totals, known/review counts, tags, icons, streaks, and progress.
• New icon selector, improved tag editor, and streamlined create/edit dialogs.
Redesigned Practice Experience
• Practice begins with cleaner card layouts and single-side visibility for stronger recall.
• Tag filters, mode selection (Spaced, Focus, Blitz), and distraction-free practice now integrate smoothly.
• Cards scroll internally so long answers, Markdown, images, and audio never overflow.
• Focus Mode offers a full-screen, gesture-based experience with cleaner instructions and theme-aware visuals.
Flashcard & Grid Improvements
• Cards now support Markdown, images, audio, and wrapped tag chips with proper contrast in both light/dark modes.
• Grid and list views scroll correctly, preserve layout across modes, and expose card details with expandable sections.
• Badges, tag colors, and progress chips all follow the new theme system for consistent readability.
Theme & Visual Overhaul
• Modern, curated theme system with refined colors, typography, and updated surfaces.
• Unified design across Dashboard, Decks, Practice, and Settings.
• Choice of System / Light / Dark mode with full persistence across sessions.
Navigation & Stability Fixes
• Removed global FAB navigation conflicts by giving each screen its own heroTag.
• Overflow issues resolved across settings, deck headers, filters, and practice views.
• Improved responsiveness on small screens: grids, forms, and toolbars adapt automatically.
• Back button behavior fixed across derived screens, preventing navigation traps.
Backup & Restore (JSON Sync Between Devices)
• Export all categories, decks, flashcards, attachments, tags, and settings into a JSON file.
• On mobile, exports use the native share sheet; on desktop platforms, a save dialog.
• Importing now merges data instead of wiping—duplicate items are skipped and existing content is preserved.
• Fully restored theme settings, deck metadata, progress, and attachments.
Ads & Privacy Improvements
• Ads initialize only on supported platforms iOS. macOS users see no errors.
• All ads request non-personalized inventory for improved privacy compliance.
• Rewarded ads now respect cooldowns, show clear consent prompts, and fall back gracefully if unavailable.
General Fixes & Cleanup
• Improved Markdown editor and fixed formatting actions.
• Updated deprecated APIs, removed unused imports, fixed comparator bugs, and stabilized Hive adapters.
• Multiple performance fixes across card rendering, scrolling, and metadata updates.
