4 DSP algorithms for unifying cross-file audio levels and without exceeding the tape's saturation limit.
● Compressor
3 DSP algorithms for elevating quiet passages above the tape's noise floor while keeping loud ones within safe limits.
● NR & EQ
4 standard noise reduction encoders, 3 EQ translators for cassettes.
● Length Fitting
Auto-arranging all audio files to best fit the user-given tape length on both sides.
● Length-tweaking
Silence padding/trimming, cross-fading and fadeout.
● Level Calibration
Aided by built-in test tone generator and dBFS/dB/VU combo meters.
● Output
- AudioQueue and AUHAL (with exclusive mode) audio interfaces.
- Supports offline or real-time tape recording.
- Playlist (m3u8) or Track list (txt).
● Off-Tape Monitor
Compares pre- and post-tape audio signals in real time and shows the deviations on the time line (works only with a 3-head tape recorder with off-tape monitoring feature).

To use this app to its full potential, basic understanding of analog tape recording would be highly beneficial, e.g.: terms like “dB”, "VU", "MOL" and "SNR”... The app’s core functionalities are designed around these concepts. The app comes with documentation, wizard, and online videos to ease the learning curve. Once you’ve picked up the new workflow, it will become effortless. But please be aware before acquiring the app.
[Limitations]
- Online streaming sources are not supported, unless pre-downloaded as local files.
- Items protected in the local Audio Library (e.g.: iTunes) are not supported.
- Acceptable audio file formats are: wav, flac, mp3, aac, m4a and ape, with standard stereo L/R channel layout, 44.1kHz ~ 192kHz, 16/24Bit.
- Preferred audio file location is the system designated "Music" folder, or otherwise explicit access permissions will be required repetitively.
- Common DJ features are not included
- Basic knowledge in analog tape recording would be required.
