This technique - deceptively simple but incredibly hard to master when applied to real-world references - involves drawing lines in one direction for lighter areas, crossing them in the opposite direction for shadows, and adding diagonal strokes for even darker regions. Achieving realistic shadows and depth by hand, when working from a photo or real-life scene, can be a daunting task for artists. Durer Algorithm takes the guesswork out of shading and shadowing. By analyzing the light and dark areas in your photos, the software precisely layers lines in multiple directions to create smooth gradients and realistic shadows, allowing you to practice and learn from the generated artwork or simply use the output as finished pieces.
Using precise, algorithm-driven techniques, it recreates the layered, detailed textures, outlines, and shadows reminiscent of traditional printmaking and old-world illustrations.
