Only Kalea’s Kolors
Kalea’s Kolors is based on the designs of the french illustrator Gabriel Rebufello. We loved his illustrations so much, that we wanted to create our first 3D coloring book with him - and here it is :)
The designs are created in a complex process that all start with a sketches from Gabriel, we then have it modelized in a feedback-loop with Gabriel to make sure his signature look is kept.
Then Gabriel can add his illustrations to the model and finally adjust the materials to his designs. The whole process is about 50 times as complex as a normal coloring book, but we think it’s worth it – We loved the resulting 3d 3D coloring book so much we named it after our daughter. „Kalea“ is Hawaiian for “filled with joy” and it’s just so appropriate here, too :)
