描述
- The Canny edge detector is one of the most popular algorithms for deriving edge maps from images (photographs).
- However, the choice of the two parameters in the Canny edge algorithm can produce vastly different filtering results, which often confuses users.
- Therefore, this app automatically adjusts these two parameters based on the relative position of the mouse on the screen, encouraging users to intuitively decide by moving the mouse around, thus enabling intuitive and easy Canny edge filtering.
- After launching the app, drag and drop an image file onto the window. Move the mouse around until you find an edge map you like, then press the 'S' key on the keyboard to save it.
- Additionally, pressing the 'T' key on the keyboard allows you to insert the original image in the background of the generated edge map before saving.
