Smart Import & Organization
Drop in a folder of MP3 files and ChapterForge automatically extracts existing metadata, chapter titles, track numbers, and embedded artwork. The app intelligently organizes your files while preserving all the information you need. Add more files anytime, reorder chapters with drag and drop, and merge multiple projects into a single audiobook.
Metadata Control That Matters
Every field is editable. Title, artist, album, narrator, publisher, genre, year, language, ISBN, comments. Apply changes to individual chapters or copy metadata down to multiple selections at once. The bulk editing tools let you find and replace text, add prefixes or suffixes, and manage track numbers across entire projects without repetitive clicking.
Professional Conversion Engine
Under the hood sits a production-grade FFmpeg integration that preserves audio quality while adding proper chapter markers. Choose your bitrate (64-320 kbps or VBR), sample rate, and encoding quality. The converter handles large audiobooks without breaking a sweat, processing multiple chapters in parallel and showing real-time progress for every conversion.
Batch Processing Built In
Queue up multiple projects and let ChapterForge work through them automatically. Set priority levels for urgent conversions, pause the queue when you need resources, and track progress across all active jobs. The batch system runs conversions concurrently based on your hardware, converting up to four projects simultaneously.
Cover Art Integration
ChapterForge extracts embedded artwork from your MP3 files and embeds it directly into the final M4B file. Your audiobooks look professional in every player, complete with the original cover art from your source files.
Project Management
