In respond to raising awareness on environment protection, green shopping of goods without packaging is a growing trend. Customers would bring their own container and buy just the amount they need. For example, 50ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This brings different needs of a point-of-sale (POS) system for shop owners. A Retail POS system capable of handling sales of both packaged and bulk package items would help!
Easy to use is an important aspect we considered. Despite supporting product barcode scanning, Oakafe EcoWood POS offers a quick access menu for bulk package items, so that you don’t need to keep a list of pre-printed barcodes beside the cashier but still be able to find an item quickly. For bulk purchase items, system will give a pop-up window for entering of the purchased weight, as well as a reminder on minimum purchase weight if applicable.
Your data will be stored locally hence business operations will not be affected by internet (Wi-Fi) connection quality. Furthermore, this app is ad-free, has no in-app purchase and no monthly subscription needed. So that you can focus on business operations without worrying about increase of running cost.
Oakafe EcoWood POS system fits for small-sized grocery stores, or mini-marts with a single cash register. Have yourself ready a Mac OS computer, a barcode scanner, a receipt printer and a cash drawer to start a business!
Functions
～ Define different items, for both packaged goods as well as bulk-packaged goods
～ Assign different access to Managers and general staffs
～ Review sales performance with built-in reports
～ Offer your customers with different payment methods (Cash, Credit card, Shop vouchers)
～ Sell an item by scanning item barcodes, enter a barcode/item number, or simply a click in the quick access menu.
～ Print order summary and payment receipt (need suitable receipt printer)
～ Connect to a Cash Drawer (need suitable cash drawer)
